Because of poor finishing, this driveway spalled
and needed concrete resurfacing.

After removing rotten concrete and filling deeper damage,
Fusion-Crete restored the driveway to a like-new appearance.
Concrete driveways can get ugly for a number of reasons: poor finishing, snowmelt agents, plowing and general wear-and-tear, to name a few. When a driveway becomes an eyesore, it’s time for Fusion-Crete. Fusion-Crete is the perfect solution for resurfacing concrete driveways, allowing homeowners to avoid the expense and disruption of full tear-out and replacement.

This driveway (above left) displayed moderate spalling with other surface defects. After thorough prepping and removal of compromised concrete, there were two steps in the resurfacing process:

  • First, Fusion-Crete modified mortar was used to restore the profile of deeper damage and feathered into areas with shallow spalling.
  • Second, a Fusion-Crete spall finish-coat mix design was applied in one pass, offering an “as new” appearance to the resurfaced driveway
